The phone worked well when it worked and I think I got a good price. Unfortunately a few days before the end of the trip it was not longer able to make either international or local calls, though the texting functionality remained. I tried to email the "contact us" email address but I got a bounce back saying that it was no longer a working email address.

I highly recommend Amigo. The order process was quick and easy, as was picking up and dropping off the SIM cards. The cards worked great with absolutely no hassle. I got the unlimited plan and enjoyed not having to worry about hidden fees or not knowing the total cost at the end of the trip. Great experience overall.

We never used Amigo before nor did we hear from people who did, but we tried them and didn't have any problems. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I rented the phone with the understanding that there is no charge to ship or send back the phone. My bill reflects two charges for shipping which I am disputing. Sid had said there would be no charge.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. The plan that was in place was for free shipping only for unlimited plans and you did not choose an unlimited plan. That being said, being that you were under the impression that shipping was free, we refunded you both shipping charges.

My understanding was that the phone was all set up for me to be able to use when I arrived in Israel. This did not happen. I was not able to call North America from the first day that I arrived. My son got in touch with someone in your office, and they spent quite a long time in order to arrive at what the problem was. Apparently, there was something wrong with the Sim card and finally it was straightened out. I think it would be more than fair that I receive a credit for all the trouble that I had to go through.

Sidney, I apologize for the difficulties that you experienced. You were issued a credit.

The phone that I had was good, although the instructions on using it weren't comprehensive. The service was good.

I rented a phone for one month use in Israel for $19.99 & a per minute & per text charge. I picked up the phone in Cedarhurst, NY, but I would probably have it mailed next time, as I now have confidence in this company, their responsive service and their straightforward answers to my questions. The phone came with a secure case, a fanny pack & clear 2-page instructions about set-up options.
