Horrible experience, unit doesn’t work, had techs come out replace batteries, unit failed again, emailed sales “no reply”, very displeased

No issues with the installation, instructions were clear and the packaging was good. The only issue we have is the seat is too small...the width is ok, but the length could have been a couple inches longer, tend to slide out.

I am a mechanically inclined DIY person with years of experience in aircraft maintenance and found the instructions with a lot to be desired and full of gaps. I had to figure out several of the steps by watching a video of a similar stair lift. Through no fault of yours, I would discourage you from using FedEx as they have a history of damaging shipments and I had to repair the rail in order for it to accept the chassis without binding.

The product itself has been really great. Our only complaint is that the seatbelt often folds over and jams when it retracts. Otherwise, the stairlift itself has been great! I gave AmeriGlide four stars. The installer was fantastic and quick, very knowledgeable. However, when I tried to contact the salesperson after the install, I have gotten zero response. I tried to contact him two different ways, but have yet to receive a response. Our installer said we needed to contact the salesperson for any warranty information, so we do not have this.

Shipping was quick, instructions very detailed and easy to follow, quality and fit of product is great-precision machining and price was very fair. Would buy here again.

Your product was ordered way before the pandemic with shipping dates agreed upon also before the logistical challenges presented. The product actually shipped 5 weeks post the delayed time. I have multiple emails of almost a begging nature to have some response and assistance and would say my calls are returned on a 1/5 ratio. Most certainly will not use Ameriglide in the future which is disappointing as we install 10/15 residential and mobility access elevators per year on our projects.

The total packages of components arrived via Fedex undamaged. All pieces were present. I followed the assembly/installation instructions which were well detailed, plus a video on YouTube. It was easy to do, and the system works perfectly. It's a welcome addition to our home. Thanks. Alan F.
