I gave it 3 stars because it was just a color swatch, to check to see if I liked the color. I liked it, but when I went to order the furniture you didn't have any pieces in stock the color I wanted. So I found another set from another company for my home.

The large gap between the middle backrest and the seat of the sofa looks unsightly
Response from Aliving Home· Apr 9, 2026
Hi Jimmy! Thank you for your feedback. The gap you noticed between the backrest and the seat is not a defect, but part of the functional design of our power reclining mechanism. The backrest is designed to be detachable, and the internal metal frame and motor require a certain clearance to operate smoothly. This space is carefully calculated to ensure proper movement and long-term durability. We understand how this might affect the overall look, and we really appreciate you pointing it out. If there’s anything we can help with, feel free to reach out!

Dislike: the back headrest needs to have more padding. Ones head tilts back too far when in most of the chairs positions. And, far more importantly, the footrest is far too short. May calves are halfway off the footrest when it is extended.
Response from Aliving Home· Jan 16, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the headrest and footrest haven’t met your comfort needs. We understand how frustrating it can be when the headrest padding allows your head to tilt back too far, and when the footrest doesn’t provide full support for your calves. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we’ll be sure to pass it along to our design team so they can explore improvements that enhance both comfort and ergonomics in future models.

Well, the price was very reasonable and I loved how it looked. It came very fast and the delivery guy brought it right in my house which was amazing. Put together easily, but I am a little disappointed that it is not as comfortable as it looks. I’m 5’3 and my head does not reach the soft curved top and I sit lower than I should, therefore is not as comfortable on the curve of my back. I need a pillow to help me conform it to my back. Hopefully, I will get used to it.
