SCAM! AFLAC doesn't pay. I paid my premiums for 4 years. When I had surgery and was kept overnight, AFLAC used a technicality in the policy to avoid paying. Biggest scam out there. Meanwhile, the Hartford paid my hospital insurance claim for the same stay. Avoid AFLAC. They are a scam!

Aflac Critical Illness Insurance — Very Disappointing Experience Based on my recent experience, I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing Aflac’s Critical Illness Insurance before enrolling, even if it is offered through your employer’s benefits package. My daughter recently underwent a heart procedure for a serious congenital heart defect, with medical costs approaching $300,000. I filed a critical illness claim with Aflac and provided the requested information. Unfortunately, the claims experience has been extremely frustrating. Their claim-related email communication has not been reliable, and I have had to call twice just to confirm that my information was received. Each time, I was told that I would receive an explanation or the claim information within 24 hours, but I never received it as promised. When you pay for insurance, you expect the company to be there when your family faces a serious medical situation. Instead, my experience has been delays, poor communication, and a lack of clear explanation regarding the claim decision. I am sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision before spending their hard-earned money on this coverage. Please carefully review the policy, exclusions, and claim process before enrolling.

DO NOT USE AFFLAC!!!! It is a huge rip off!!! They lock you into a year contract where you cannot get out of and dont cover jack shit.

Such damned scammers, my mother and I plan on sueing them for the entirety of her policy that they CANCELLED on their own, even though my mother kept telling them to take out the money in her account. May your CEO have only SUFFERING in his future and present.

If I could put less I would. I paid Aflac over $80,000 through the years. When I filed a claim for my husbands cancer. I got denied. What is the point In paying for something if you don’t get the help you need? My husband has passed from the cancer so I’m just screwed out all that money.
