This ballhead is the Lambo of ballheads I am unbelievably happy with it, it’s expensive, gun metal black and sexy as hell. Suits my needs perfectly

Clearly well designed and of stellar manufacture. My Acratech Ultimate and Long Lens tripod heads are a pleasure to operate. Made in America means something to this citizen.

The plate fits perfectly with the Hasselblad plate. It's solid, well-machined. I ordered the wrong size and they sent me another one before I sent mine back. Wonderful to talk to and I greatly appreciate the quality of their product and service, especially knowing they were shorthanded during the Coronavirus.

This is the second leveller I have purchased (I keep one with each tripod / head combination. I love it. And the service is always excellent. AND, the design of the tripod heads is outstanding in every way. And the products are durable and haven't required any maintenance or adjustment. One minor item -- typically I don't get charged duty at the Canadian border for photography equipment, but in this case, the form said the packaged contained "jewelry" and I paid $20 duty.

Hi Gord, Thank you for the stellar review. I am not sure how the customs picked up jewelry? The only thing that I can think of is that the customs code may have been misread. I will definitely take a look into it to make sure they are correct. Sincerely, Patty

After a recent purchase of a 600mm lens I realized the need for a better tripod head (Gimbal) to manage the weight. Your bracket worked great. I am also pleased with other Acratech products I have.

The quality of the product is normal and its price is disproportionate, the side wheel is uncomfortable to use on flat platforms, the base should be totally flat. Another inconvenience was the shipping costs totally disproportionate being an ordinary shipping and with more than 3 weeks to arrive to my country. I would not buy it again. Greetings

Hi Jonathan, We are very sorry that you are unhappy with our product and shipping. Putting a tripod head on a tripod with a large top platform is a problem in that it makes using the pan knob difficult. We make risers for these tripods to help with this. The shipping is out of our control. We have noticed a huge increase in delays with our international orders since before the holidays. In an effort to offer lower international shipping rates we have only given the option for US Postal Priority Mail. I recently added FedEx to the options. I will look into how to apply a discount for our international customers to make choosing FedEx a more attractive option. Sincerely, Patty Acratech, Inc.
