We can only speak broadly to the issues you outlined. When an order is placed, a pending authorization is put on your bank account to reserve the funds for the purchase. If the order is canceled, then the pending authorization must be removed by your bank. We immediately request the authorization be removed but it takes most banking institutions 3-10 business days to process which is why those funds were not immediately available to you after the issue with your order. Our prescription verification team works tirelessly to ensure every order we send out is correct - however, they are real people working on these orders and so issues can still arise. We always want to provide the best service and transparency possible, unfortunately, it sounds like we couldn't deliver on that expectation in your situation. With that in mind, thank you for providing additional information about your account and situation. It definitely provided some necessary context to speak to your experience. In your specific situation, there was an issue with a payment method and another was used to finalize the order. With those instances, the original payment method used will have a pending authorization on it for 3-10 business days. At that point, it will require the banking institution to release the pending authorization. When a payment method fails on our side, we immediately request the pending authorization to be dropped and the 3-10 business days is the typical timeframe we see from banking institutions to affirm the removal of the authorization.
