Received contacts in a few days even with holiday! Smooth process. NOT the first time I have used 1-8-00 -contacts. Prices competitive.

Ordering and shipping is easy. Been using for years. But ordered a set that came with a $50 rebate card- jumped through tons of hoops to get the card and then the card really quickly expired and they wouldn’t reissue. That experience turned me off. I have them a chance to make it right and they offered me 10% off my next order. Thanks but no thanks. They lost me as a customer and I’m irritated enough over the whole process to leave this negative review.

After getting contacts shipped from another company, using this company was like a breath of fresh air! The website is easy to use, my contacts have always been in stock, and the shipping is fast and reliable. The quirky, fun conversational style of the communications makes it actually enjoyable to order contacts!

I had a very disappointing experience with 1‑800 Contacts, and I want to share what happened so other customers know what to expect. I placed my order using Afterpay because I rely on installment payments. When the company emailed me saying the lenses I selected didn’t match my prescription, I called as instructed. The representative, Liz, told me there was a price difference and said I could either cancel and reorder through Afterpay or simply pay the difference on another card. I asked for the amount, she told me, and I agreed to pay the difference only. Instead, she cancelled my Afterpay order without my consent and charged my card for the entire order — the exact opposite of what we discussed. When I questioned it, she denied what she had told me earlier in the same call and became defensive. This left me with funds tied up on both my card and Afterpay, totaling over $200. What made the situation worse is that when I raised the issue, the company relied solely on the representative’s written notes, which were incomplete and did not reflect the actual conversation. I repeatedly asked for the recorded call to be reviewed — since the rep stated all calls are recorded — but that request was ignored. Because of this experience, I will not be doing business with 1‑800 Contacts again. I’ve already found a better deal elsewhere, and I’m filing a complaint with Afterpay regarding the unauthorized cancellation and charge. This was supposed to be a simple, “no stress” process, but it turned into a frustrating and unnecessary ordeal caused entirely by the company’s mishandling.

Worst company out there, just out there stealing your money, and they don’t care, they ripped you off.
