Like your focus on featuring specific categories of wine with additional editorial content in your emails. This aligns with how I typically shop for wine/buy wine. Website also give me opportunity to shop differently (which is also good). Like having access to wines not often available from wine stores and/or reputable online wine sellers (e.g. champagne offerings) as I would not typically trust most online sellers. Have gotten bad bottles many times before (like the "cold storage" chain of custody idea that you discuss). Your checkout experience needs improvement (slow, hard to navigate, not integrated well with flow of shopping on the site) and pricing is sometimes a little bit high, but overall a great experience. Shipping is very professional and quick as well.

Better for people who know what they want.

I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. The only small hitch is that there was no delivery date specified. The destination was local and when I called a week later, I spoke to a very helpful young lady who was struggling with a balky computer system; She called me back in a few minutes to say that the wine would be delivered the next morning, which it was.
