Honestly, why does Ulta have Customer Pick up anyway? Each time I have ordered something, they have to open the package and scan it again which is no small thing when you’re expecting to pick up and go. The process is absurd. You guys need to find a way to make it a pick up and go experience. Standing in line at Ulta is definitely WORSE but the customer pick up is not much better.

ULTA tries, but falls short in some areas. CONS: Beauty advisors have very limited product knowledge, Limited selection of premium brands in some locations, The return policy isn't customer friendly if you're buying a gift, Displays are not always well kept. When it comes to specific beauty advice Sephora does a better job. PROS: Good selection of drugstore brands and good selection of haircare products, which makes sense when they offer salon services in-store.

After 14 mo of ordering online I decided to shop in a store. At about 10 am I entered the store,found a young man (new employee )who helped me find a product but could not find the others,no one else around. At the checkout I waited while 3 employees did I don’t know what. I did not wait all that long but to long while 3 employees did nothing without masks.I asked regarding the other products and was met with a don’t know attitude. I will say I’am not a young woman and felt I was treated with total disregard by all except the young man. Just wanted to pass this along so that you can try and improve your costumer service. I will pass this along to all I know in the area so that they are aware.

Ulta must have a high turnover rate because every time I go in there, it is always new faces. The advisors used too be so friendly, but now you can tell they are not wanting to actually help you. And the Prestige side only has 1 person and good luck have 2 people in front of you too be helped. The 20% coupons, that usually have exclusions, won’t show them because online it only shows the front of the coupon and not the list of exclusions. Yes, it’s usually Prestige, but I bought a name brand straightener and it was included. Communication is poor and the online customer service people act like they could care less. From 10 years ago they are day and night in customer service.

I visited the ULTA Beauty store located in Pooler. Ga today. I have often shopped here with my daughter and granddaughter, actually, we had her facial make-up applied here for prom here. Well, today I was profiled by the security person, blonde Karen hair, and holding a phone, trying to sneak pictures. She followed me throughout the store, she was so close she can touch my locs. She made, making it obvious that she was lurking behind me. She even got in line behind me, until I paid and asked for a Veteran discount of course I did not get one. The cashier was nice, Jacob was very pleasant and professional. The representative from MAC was very helpful with choosing a color for my skin tone. The security profiled every person of color that came thru that door when I was there. Yes, I'm African-American, with locs . She profiled me, my daughter, and my granddaughter persons of color and locs. I don't know if I will ever shop at this particular store again, but if I do I will follow her around just make her uncomfortable. Please don't say it's tax season, no excuse. I work and do not get extra money. smdh

Sometimes the service is good, other times they do not want anything to do with you. I feel bad asking for help, but the workers sometimes don’t make it any easier by just huddling around each other.
