I can't hear out of them. ANY other noise drowns out the information from my hearing aids.

I bought a new pair of Starkey edge hearing aids and I just spoke with customer service and they tell me that I cannot pair my new hearing aids with my TV streaming box. Those boxes are very expensive and you would think that being the same manufacturer they would make it work. I’m not a happy camper and I refuse to buy another one of the boxes that are between 250 and $300 apiece. Do better Starkey.

Hello Tammy - Thank you for providing your feedback. Edge AI hearing aids use a new type of Bluetooth low-energy protocol called Auracast. This new type of wireless connectivity would require the streaming box to have the same type of connection. We're sorry if this wasn't discussed at your appointment. We do have other models of hearing aids if you have an older style Starkey TV streamer that may work better for you, such as our Genesis models. We recommend connecting with your provider to see if an exchange is possible. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience that this has caused you.

I still can’t get them in my ears

Hi Donna - We're sorry that you're having trouble with getting your hearing aids in your ears. We manufacture many different styles. If you haven't already, we highly suggest contacting your provider to see if a different style might be easier for you to insert. You deserve to be able to hear and connect with the people that matter most!

Client Starkey depuis 2018 j’ai du souvent renvoyer mes appareils le plus souvent pour changer micro et haut parleur ce qui veut dire plus d’appareil pendant au moins 8 jours ( soi disant pour des problèmes d’humidité). Cette année c’est le sommet coque refaite en payant et un mois après fissure donc je teste un nouvel appareil qui au bout de 15 jours sort de mon oreille en 2 morceaux. Réparation par Starkey qui facture 180€. Donc je change d’audioprothésiste et de matériel

I paid for my hearing aids on June 6th 2025. Went to the provide on June 19th to get fitted and get my hearing aids programmed.. one did not work. The provide said they would ship it back and get another one. He said the company was in Eden Prairie, mn so it should only take a few days. In two days on July 10th it will have been 3 weeks since I was told only a few days back on June 19th. I find it funny, I not even gotten my hearing aids yet but I am already getting a satisfaction survey. Its sort of hard to rate the hearingcaids when I have not even got them yet. I do find the process a little irritating. 1st they costed over 4k. Then the provider never even tested them before I got there to see if they worked.

I have had hearing aids for 5 years before I purchased Starkey. I have had nothing but problems. They have been repaired 3X in less than a year. They fall out easily and shatter like glass when they do. Connectivity is spotty and Right & Left often don’t synchronize with each other or the app. Sound quality is good……when they are working.

Bought these hearing aids for my 95yr old mother batteries lasted just over a year, not a problem apart from I was quoted £185.00 to replace the batteries. Spent hours on the phone trying to find out why I could not do it myself with no real explanation apart from they want to make a lot of money out of the deal. It would seem they milk the disposable income of the elderly with no morals.

If your mother's hearing aids are rechargeable, they will need to be sent in to be replaced, as they are wired into the components of the hearing aids. It isn't a piece that can be swapped out without the appropriate equipment, tools, and training.
