I purchased the Trendsetter II 48" as a trial run for one bedroom, and it went so well I immediately ordered a second for another room. Installation was genuinely easy. I was replacing an overhead light fixture — no ceiling fan had ever been in either room — but the ceiling box was already in place, so mounting the fan was straightforward. My only concern going in was my wiring. The house has a classic switch loop configuration, meaning the circuit runs directly to the ceiling box with no neutral wire at the wall switch. This rules out most smart switches and dimmers, which typically require a neutral. The RF wall switch included with the Trendsetter II sidesteps that problem entirely. It's battery-powered and communicates wirelessly with the fan, so your wiring situation is completely irrelevant. That wall switch ended up being one of my favorite features. Smart fans are great for voice control, automation, and using the remote from bed — but there's always that moment when you walk into a dark room and instinctively reach for a wall switch. Now I have all three options: home automation, the handheld remote, or just tapping the wall switch like any normal fan. Best of both worlds. Total time from unboxing to fully synced with my smart home system was about 30 minutes per fan, including pairing with the app and setting up voice control. The fan runs quietly, moves serious air, and looks sharp. Highly recommend — especially for anyone who's been hesitant about smart fans because of older wiring.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review! We're honored that your experience with the first Trendsetter II was good enough to earn an immediate second purchase. It's especially great to hear how well the included RF wall switch worked with your switch loop wiring setup. One of our goals is to make smart fan technology accessible even in homes with older wiring configurations, so we're thrilled that it provided the convenience and flexibility you were looking for. We're also glad the installation, app setup, and smart home integration went smoothly, and that you're enjoying the quiet operation, strong airflow, and design. Your explanation of the different control options will be incredibly helpful for other customers considering a smart fan. Thank you again for your trust and recommendation. We truly appreciate your support and hope you enjoy both fans for many years to come!

I am thrilled with my purchase. I looked for a very long time to find a fan that met my requirements. These exceeded them! I purchased 4 fans and just installed them yesterday. Very high quality: whisper quiet, lots of various modes, and they look amazing. Customer service is very professional and friendly. Would definitely buy from this company again.
