Three years ago, my medical colleagues recommended Silverado/Calabasas for my sister who was diagnosed with dementia. The excellent health care and personal attention they have provided has far exceeded my expectations. I will continue to refer my friends,associates and patients to this facility.

From the moment we inquired about Silverado, we knew we found our "family". The Admissions staff was so kind, caring, thoughtful & respectful as they handled this delicate & emotional transition. The staff explained the application process, financial process, a view intoi what a "day in the life of a resident" would look and sound like, explained how our loved one would be cared for by the medical staff as well as the activities they would engage him in, provided us with a tour of the facility, and introduced us to the staff who were present. We were pleased our loved one would be one of the first three "a Founding Member". During the 5 months our loved one was a resident, we felt heard and respected. If there was a question on a procedure or finances, the staff took the time to research and responded back to us in a timely manner. We never felt they rushed or brushed us off. I would be remiss if I did not mention how wonderful the Chef, Receptionist, Maintenance, Engagement Activities staff to the Nursing Assistants and Nurses were. They went over and beyond their daily responsibilities each and every day (and night). We appreciate all of them! Unfortunately, our loved one passed during the 5th month. Members of the staff who could attend, paid their respects during visitation. A month later, they are still checking in on us and including us in their communication. The family cannot thank the staff at the Frederick, Maryland Silverado Memory Care Facility enough for their compassion. We appreciate each and every one of them.

This facility stands high above the rest. This feels like home; with residents able to personalize their space, friendly pets to greet you, and a staff that cares.. after my tour I would be more than comfortable, happy to have a loved one here.

Silverado Memory Care on Hayworth is a gem. My 97-year-old mother was there for almost a year and they couldn't have been more responsive and helpful. The staff is so kind and the physical therapy team led by Krikor is beyond amazing. I would heartily recommend this facility to anyone who has an aging parent with memory loss or needs physical therapy.

Silverado Thousand Oaks is a great size and a beautiful location. It is very well run. We are very happy with the care our father is getting. The doctor in charge has changed his medication and our dad seems so much better since he got there. They are a memory care community which is great because everyone there is trained in this specific illness. The residents are kept engaged by wonderful people. All level residents are welcome and Silverado does it's best to pair residents who are at the same stage of memory care. We looked at other places thoroughly and liked Silverado Thousand Oaks the best. We are so happy with the staff, nurses, caregivers, everyone in charge. The community is open to our needs and attentive to our dad. We feel comfortable knowing he is there safe and well cared for. What a relief when you finally find a great place for your loved one.

Silverado Beach Cities has great staff who are very compassionate and thorough with the care of their residents. They are very receptive to what works best for our loved one and open to try different things. The facility is clean and they have taken great care in making sure the rooms and local gathering areas are warm and inviting. It has brought me and my family peace of mind knowing that their level of care is one of the best in the South Bay!

My mom has been at Silverado for 4 months. She has been well cared for by all the staff there from front desk receptionists, engagement specialists, caregivers, therapists, chef, kitchen crew, housekeepers, social worker and in house nurses. They have responded quickly and effectively to all my concerns. Having a family member with dementia is one of the hardest things anyone will experience. Having Silverado on my side has been life changing.

My 98 year old mother has been a resident at the Beach Cities community for just over one year. She feels like it is her home now and that the staff and the residents are her family. She loves that the staff refer to her as Grandma. We feel fortunate to have found Silverado Beach Cities. My mother has received excellent care and we appreciate the entire staff!
