I think they have the whole routine…
I think they have the whole routine down on how to maximize profits while robbing their guests of cash deposits. It probably goes something like this, after booking is paid in full online, look the guest up and down, tell them Expedia.com or whoever the third party booking agent is, that they didn't receive confirmation and therefore won't honor the reservation. And conveniently after check out time say that they can't extend their stay anyway because they are checking out later than check out time. Then while they go to pack, bang on the door loudly while yelling profanity. Once the guest is feeling quite disrespected yell in their face how it's not your mf problem and shut the door before they can remove all their belongings. Then call the cops and lie and say that the guest was trying to kick the door in so the cops enter a volatile situation believing that the guest is at fault and call it an incident. Hence, the cash deposit is taken for incidentals. The corporate office seems to think this protocol suits Red Roof just fine. I have video proof of the attack that took place but no one wants to see it. Injustice and discrimination should be their motto.
