This course gives you the tools you need to become a successful proofreader, but you have to be the one to use the tools. As long as you follow the course and do each and everything you are instructed, I have no doubt that you will become successful.

I found this course incredibly easy to follow - you are guided through step, by step. The exam process was straightforward, and the team were very quick to turn it all around. I have seen some grumbles about having to do all the essays - but seriously? It was the way I discovered the things I wasn't looking for along with useful links to specific CMOS references. This was definitely a great way to practice and learn if you tackled it as a learning exercise and looked all the things up that you didn't understand or had questions about. There are so many rules and nuances, that a course to cover everything would take months and months, and how much would you honestly remember? Being methodical and learning to look things up and check things out as you go along are the best lessons I took away. I am British and had the added challenge of discerning between American and British conventions. Now, having learned to work to a specific style, I feel confident that I can work across different styles and conventions. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to try a new career or simply wanting to brush up on their own command of SPAG.

My experience with Proofread Anywhere was excellent. The course was comprehensive and helped me brush up on my skills. But it was more than just technical. The material includes how to turn this skill into a business, including the software needed to successfully proofread for clients as well as how to find clients and keep them. Well worth the cost!
