I have just used this service for the first time. I’m a nurse and I don’t get rattled easily. However, I’m very unsure on what to do when my dog is sick. I love that you can chat with a professional and get advice on symptoms to look for and what to do. This service is great!!! It really put my mind at ease.

i had a pregnant female rottweiler and she was having lots of breathing but no complete contractions (she also had a c section last litter), i called and spoke with the vet and he evaluated what i told him. he said if she didnt start to have puppies by the next morning i should contact my vet, even though Pawp doesnt cover pregnancies he still gave me advise. it is worth the little bit you pay every month just to be able to talk to vet anytime, even if you dont use the insurance to go to a vet. also i think if you have the insurance you might not have a problem, but better to be prepared.

I was able to speak to a vet late at night. I was comforting. It turned out to be kennel cough. So it wasn’t an emergency. The technology was a bit slow but effective.

My experience was a combination of 2 interactions. The first was excellent. The vet came on the video chat immediately, diagnosed the problem and instructed me what to do. However, a couple of hours later when the symptoms worsened and I wanted to activate the emergency fund I was told there was no vets available. I just had to go to the vet without it. Luckily, the situation ended up being a low cost one. All I all, I'm still pleased with the service.
