Muddy Mat®Reviews of muddymats.com

After 1 washing,

I bought a muddy Matt and the backing fell apart. I emailed the company sent pictures and showed the tag gave my email address and I keep getting they need a tracking number which I don’t have. Very disappointing that they don’t believe a 72 year old lady that the rug was bad and won’t stand behind there product. I don’t remember when I bought the rug maybe a year ago

Buyer beware. I am currently 6 emails in to trying to recoup my money as I paid for the promotional 3-for-2 mats and a 'free' Rubber Scrubber... 2 mats now promised and 'half price handling fee" of $5 for the scrubber. Misleading marketing to say the least.

Customer service is bad

Once my order was placed, it came up and said that I had a free prize, some rubber gloves, so I thought why not. It gave off temu vibes. When I checked out, there was 9.99 fee added on, seems a bit dodgy to me. On top of that, the website didnt ask to confirm my address, an my PayPal address hadn't been updated. So they are sending it to the wrong address. I have sent them a few emails requesting they cancel part my order. They have offered a voucher, but I have declined. Additionally I was told that my order had been put on hold, but I just got a notification from aus post that they are preparing my parcel, with the wrong address..... I've tried to redirect it on aus post..

Be very careful when ordering. As I placed my order, the site offered a free gift for answering survey questions. My “gift” was dog scrubber gloves. I don’t own a dog, but thought I’d gift them to my daughter since they were free. After I completed my order, I noticed they had snuck in a $9.99 charge for the free gift. I feel cheated and this makes me feel that the company is dishonest.

UPDATE: The company will not cancel my order and will not own up to their scammy bait-and-switch charges. They have replied with two different form-letter emails, extolling the virtues of their products and offering coupons toward future purchases. I am initiating a chargeback through my credit card company. Odd that the positive reviews are from people with no other reviews on their accounts. ORIGINAL COMPLAINT: I own a Muddy Mat and really like it. Seeing the B2G1 ads on TV, we decided to purchase a few more. All was fine, my total showed the total for mats + free mat + the shipping option I chose. However, after clicking "pay", suddenly, the total was over $70 MORE than shown, with added fees, $49 for nonstick corners, and more expensive shipping than I'd chosen. I emailed the company requesting my order be canceled and also contacted my credit card company in case I need to initiate a chargeback. BUYER BEWARE: When ordering, they have numerous pop-ups pushing you to buy more items, with the "no thanks" button being obscured...and your order total is changed once you press the "pay" button. This is little more than a scam. I will update if they contact me.

I ordered 2 mats that were supposed to be delivered 5 days ago. A tracking number was supplied but it has been sitting in limbo for the past week. When I contacted Muddymat they passed the responsibility on to the carrier blaming it on high volume from the "holiday season".... it's June. I asked for a refund if my package was lost but as of now have neither my package or refund. Update 7/2/2025 I have sent several emails now asking for a refund. I have been offered discounts, coupons, ect... everything but a refund. I just want my money back for a product that I never received.
