Buying the vouchers was a good experience. And when I needed to cancel 2 of the vouchers, that was also a good experience. But when the refund came only one of the voucher was refunded when I originally called. I did not appreciate having to make another call to get the second refund that had been promised almost a week earlier.

To expensive

I liked how easy it was to search for a service, provider and pay via MDsave. However, MDsave was unable to help me in anyway after the voucher had been submitted to them by the medical facility. Any issues regarding testing not done correctly or not being able obtain results resulted in being left out of pocket. I will not pay in full/or at a discounted rate again upfront. Once the facility has been paid in full upfront it is difficult to get any sort of refund after having the test go wrong. MDsave does not get involved with the facility. You are on you're own!

We had to travel 30+ miles to get the tests run and then they were confused with what tests were supposed to be done and they had to call the doctor's office. Overall it did save us a lot of money.

The website does not list all the sites that accept the voucher, so it took an inordinate amount of time and phone calls to secure an appointment. The site I went to for a CT scan, did accept the voucher, but under another entity's name and address - another hoop to jump through.

Yes, the procedure was cheaper but now that I have to have another one I wish I had let it all go towards my deductible so my insurance would be paying instead of me.

I needed to split the cost of my surgery on to more than one card. This was the most difficult thing to do. I was told no by 3 customer service reps. Until my doctors office finally got the name of someone to call directly to get this done. Stupidest thing ever.
