We have been using Ipswitch products (Imail, WS FTP Server) for the past 20 years and have always found them satisfactory.

-Excellent tech support. -Although I would recommend this to anyone I really, really wish they had a training program for MoveIT. I have been told that the product is so plain vanilla that only 2 hrs and a couple of YouTube videos are sufficient to know it all. That is total garbage and has been a frustration for years. Luckily, the tech support guys are great and help to make up for the lack of a decent training program. -The MoveIT Analytics server is terrible. I wish we could use it but it never has worked for us. Reports disappear or never get saved. The performance is abysmal. No training and terrible documentation and even the tech support guys admit it is not a good product and whenever I call them with a question they have to escalate it to a developer because even they can't figure it out. -Web interface is interesting but too slow and difficult to work with for most admin tasks other than a few nice sorts and reports. -Overall, we love the basic product and it has been great to work with when compared with other products out in the market. It could be even better.

MOVEit as a product is easy to use and extremely functional, however I am not a windows programmer. Getting into the weeds with scripting is not in my wheel house so if I have to do anything out of the ordinary with scripting it would be better to have someone with that experience on my team.

I have been using Ipswitch for 8 or so years and I haven't been disappointed once. My websites are uploaded with ease and I don't have to worry about it.

The Ipswitch products I use (What'sUpGold & Log Management) are go-to tools in our shop... What'sUPGold is very powerful and it provides us with round-the-clock monitoring of our environment. Log Management is an older product with an out-of-date GUI which needs to be refreshed and made easier to use. It's not as good as some of the SEIM tools on the market today. I find Ipswitch's technical support to be very good once you engage them, their technical support website is not as easy to maneuver through as other sites I'm used to.

I've only been using for a few weeks, but so far so good. We need to script a few jobs - hoping to revise review to five stars after that!
