Despite being produced by an otherwise legitimate company, Iolo, this program is malware; it is picked up by other antiviruses (except System Mechanic Antivirus, I think!) and it ruined my PC in September 2023. Due to my personal experience, I WOULD NOT recommend trusting this program.

I installed the software & immediately had a Windows error. Their Tech line wasn't able to either phone me or get onto my PC, which meant I spent around 2 weeks back & forth with absolutely no resolution. On 3rd November 20203 I asked for a refund due to these problems & heard nothing back. On 22nd December they then have the audacity to charge me for ongoing Tech support...! Today (28th Dec) I contacted the helpline & guess what, only then did I get it cancelled with the remark, 'I can't get you a refund as it's company policy'. This is disgraceful behaviour by what appears to be indifferent staff.

Unsuspecting .I thought this was a company that helped people fix their computer for an affordable price of $19.95 annually .I also had the same problem with the activation code.I would put in the code and it would not activate.And it keeps saying put in the code again…I also experienced like everyone else complained ,a recurring monthly charge for tech support which I never requested since I am not a norvice with computers. They got me for 2 months unsuspected charges before I realized what was going on .They attached the tech support charge in the fine print,when you sign up.You have to cancel it. The rep told me if I didn’t cancel it could have cost me up to $240 a year for tech support alone plus my yearly fee.All this for a software program to update your computer drivers.????. So I had to cancel immediately . And imagine he had the nerve to ask me what was my reason for cancelling… These reviews all tell the same story of a ripoff by this company.I also was a long time user of System Mechanic from iolo and never had a problem .They need to fix this problem and refund the customer their money.

Absolute scam. Don't do it. I got an activation key on 8/22/2023. One day later I start seeing Activate Now during the scan but didn't realize all that was happening was a scan. I kept seeing the same scan results for over a month and finally contacted Tech Support and 4 times now the tech has given me a new activation key and for the 5th time the key lasts just 1 day and back on the phone again. I tried to cancel and was told Tech Support would have to take care of it. Billing is too busy to help? Between this and problems with MycleanID I'm thinking this company gets your money and try, just try to get a fix and forget any money back.

I paid for and installed the GetMyDrivers software back in November 2022, and was given a license key to activate the product. As mentioned by others, the unwanted charges for "7x24x365 customer technical support" for an additional $19.95 a month went on for a few months, but I was able to call and have that cancelled permanently. As for the software, every few months, as if on a timer, the activation code invalidates and the software goes back into trial mode. I've lived with calling technical support for the past 9 months, usually every two months or less to receive a fix or new activation code. They've reinstalled and pulled logs and other artifacts from my computer to determine the problem each time, but have never come up with a permanent fix.

I keep getting double billed for Get My Drivers. A poorly run operation...

I got suckered into paying for an continuing monthly charge for ongoing technical support that I did not request. On their website they stated that their program could be downloaded for free. However in order to use it they charged an annual fee for the license to use it. They said that there would be a fee for ongoing technical support. The way it is worded, it seems that a customer would probably need to request the ongoing technical support service. When I looked my bank account today, I realized that they have been charging me a monthly fee for their ongoing technical support. They need to be very clear on their website that if a customer chooses to get the annual license, the customer will not have a choice to select whether they want an ongoing services.

These reptiles have been feeding off my Credit Card. It has cost me hundreds - I did not sign up with them and I don't use any of their software. No-one needs to pay to update drivers these days - the operating systems in. Windows and Mac OS, do it automatically. I am now taking legal advice to recover the money they have scammed. I don't believe these gushing 5 star reviews on this site. No real person thinks that this scam is a bargain - TrustPilot really needs to do some house-keeping to check for similarities in the ip adresses of the 'fan club' - FIVE STAR. it ain't!
