Like other people said, I also had a bad experience with customer service. No answer at all. I need to cancel my TOEFL test, and I will try to get refunded. I hope they will give me my money back. I would most definitely not recommend the home edition. This is highly unfair and dishonest from their part. They just take advantage of the covid situation. That's too bad!!

Absolutely the worst! I took the test because was the only one with the home edition, I had to use that one due to covid. They said my scores would be available within 10 days. It’s been 3 weeks and nothing. They only sent me an email after 10 days telling me it will take over 4 weeks because it’s being held to review. I am absolutely desperate because university starts in 2 weeks, and I’m missing all the deadlines. I can’t even sleep at night of how much anxiety I have over this, and they said there’s nothing they can do. I live in United Kingdom and can’t call them since their phone is from USA, so I try using their live chat and it is absolutely useless. I had to wait 3 hours in a queue!!! Only to be told there’s nothing they can do! I’m on the edge and freaking out. IF YOU CAN CHOOSE, DO NOT EVER TAKE THIS TEST! No one deserves to go through such stress, SPECIALLY WITH THIS TEST BEING EXPENSIVE ! You pay so much, have so many sleepless nights to study like crazy to pass this test, for in the end, they don’t tell you anything, they don’t reply with anything useful or Many times they didn’t even reply at all! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!

Never take the TOEFL HOME EDITION, IT'S A SCAM! I've taken this home edition exam as in France it was difficult with the Covid to reach a test center and was expected to have my results by 6 to 10 days, but it's been a month and I still don't have them. They have put it on hold without even telling me, I had to call the customer service multiple times to know that I was on hold and they wouldn't even give me the reason except "it's a matter of security" like if I was a terrorist that's insane! Today, I still don't have my results and thanks to them I've missed all my deadlines to get an exchange. You don't even have the right to get a refund whereas it's their fault, if you have the opportunity, take the IELTS or the Cambridge certification which has much more integrity than these scammers!

Will never use TOEFL again, I will tell others not to. Wrote my test 24th of June , toefl ibt home edition, still no scores. They don’t respond to email, don’t answer calls, my 10th call on hold for at least 20 minutes a time . Just was told score in review. Pathetic service I just want my scores. They do not update you on anything. It’s a lot of money they just steal from people. How do we fight them?

I'd give them negative stars if I could. They are lying and cheating people left and write. I paid for an at home praxis but when I went to schedule it, ETS had blacked out the entire calender, every single month, every day. ProctorU explained that they only provide a proctor, that ETS controls the schedule. I've been calling and emailing ETS since June 30th. No one answers or responds to emails. I filed a complaint with PayPal to get my money back but in the meantime had to pay for a different praxis, out of my field that I could find at a testing center, just to get a job. When I logged in and began my test, the 210 minute test was miraculously only 150 minutes...to answer 130 English Language Arts questions write 2 essays. It also took over 4 weeks to get my scores, which I missed by 3 points. When I looked at my scores I noticed that the grading scale that is on their website wasn't applied to my exam. Taking into consideration the entire hour that was somehow removed from my exam as well as an unannounced grading change to my essays, all 10 days after I filed a complaint against them, I find it rather interesting. If you speak out, they punish you? I'm screwed now because they've informed PayPal that I got what I paid for, that my "COVID" at home praxis is scheduled for January 3, 2021. WHAT????? I didn't schedule it and they aren't even offered that far ahead. How many lies will they tell to cheat people out of money? I want to reach out to everyone else on here that has had the same experience. Did you know ETS has already been sued, more than once?

I had been in constant touch with the customer representative through live chat, and all I am getting is NO RESPONSE just like all the reviewers down below. A one star rating just shows so much. And honestly they have done absolutely nothing about this. Hundred mails yet not a single response. Keep up the good work of stealing people's money.

Save money, take IELTS or PTE instead! Revenue is important, but being greedy is not the way for a giant company with multi-million revenue yearly. First, I was convinced to change my exam from the one in the test center to Special Home Edition and they claimed "it's the same". Now, AU and NZ don't accept it, but nobody cares.
