I've had an overall pleasant experience booking vacays for my dogs twice within the last 3 months. Issues are resolved at a decent speed and their concierge service is very good. They've even offered me a nice coupon due to a sitter cancelling on me.

Our dog loved his stay for 2 nights with AllenC on Marco Island. Before we booked at DogVacay we did visit another host and would have never left our dog with the other person. Please take advantage of visiting your host beforehand.

The booking process is pretty simple, however, I don't like finding out at the time to pay that there is an additional insurance added to the bill. The pet sitter was amazing! However, since I have 3 dogs I would suggest that people consider a multi-pet family discount as boarding facilities do.
