Daniel George Custom SuitsReviews of danielgeorge.com

I've been going to Daniel George for years and I plan on going to him for years to come. I always get compliments when I step out in anything I've gotten from him! Best value and quality you're gonna find...trust me...I've done the research!

Beautifully made suits and top notch customer service! I always felt like part of the Daniel George family from the first time I stepped through the door. The team is very punctual and attentive, and the workmanship is unrivaled in the market. Thank you for creating the perfect wedding suit for me!

The best place for custom men's wear in the city. Hands down. The service is outstanding. The attention to detail is bar none--no question or concern is left hanging. I don't know how many times I emailed for a picture of a fabric swatch, question, or update and it was responded to within minutes. The timeline they laid out was exactly what it ended up being, no delays or excuses. I had my items shipped, and it showed up well packed and on time. I was expecting a good experience, as several of my friends/family have used DG, but I did not know that it would be this great. I'm already thinking about what I need next and when I'll be back.

Daniel and his team were super responsive, professional and most importantly they make great suits. I was looking for a custom suit that I could wear for my wedding, but one that was also versatile enough to wear for business meetings as well. Daniel sat with me and helped me pick the fabric and just the right color that fit my needs. The fit and feel of the suit is exceptional, and DG has earned a repeat customer. I recently went back to Daniel for a sport coat, and the service and experience was fantastic once again.

Daniel George has been a TOTAL game changer. From the second you walk in, you know you’re in good hands. The options, attention to detail and the ability of Daniel & his team to assist in the process is unmatched. I travel weekly for work in a Business Development role and never have I gotten a single complement on my suits/shirts. After I received my perfectly fitted suits this past week, I traveled to New York for several meetings and received complements everywhere I went on my suits. I will never go back to my old ways... Daniel George is my go-to and always will be. James

Daniel and team are incredibly knowledgeable, first and foremost. He makes great recommendations, understands the way various colors tie together and the way different types of suits should look and fit. He’s personable and willing to work with you to get exactly what you want. I got a gray three-piece suit for my wedding and was so impressed, I returned for two more to build out my wardrobe. My dad and father-in-law both got new suits from Daniel and love them as well. Highly, highly recommend Daniel if you’re looking for a fantastic suit and a great experience.

Prior to meeting Daniel I spent countless hours driving from the northern suburbs to two other custom clothiers in downtown Chicago. One only allotted me time with a 21yo who knew nothing about how men dress (although she wreaked of 'fake it 'til you make it). The other was a long-standing Chicago institution, however the shirts I ordered were only marginally better in quality when compared to my typical Nordstrom fare, yet cost 2-3 times as much. I came to Daniel in need of a custom sport coat. I'm fairly easy to fit for a shirt or trousers, yet even the most "slim-fit" sport coat makes me look like I'm wearing the Liberty Bell. Daniel took one look at the off-the-rack sport coat I wore into his gallery and gave me countless reasons why it was all wrong for my body shape. And you know what? He was absolutely right. I sat down with Daniel and one of his staff and we designed a blue wool sport coat with an appropriate contrasting color for the lining and button stitching. I finalized my order on February 23rd with a 'must-have' date of no later than April 20th. Daniel had me back for my first fitting review on April 6th, and the coat was delivered on April 18th, as promised. Daniel's guidance resulted in a sport coat that easily takes 15 pounds off my shape, and it has made me feel like I did 20 years ago. The entire process and end product have made me want to take better care of myself so that I look and feel better about how I appear in front of my friends and clients. Kudos to Daniel for the care and quality of product he provides to his clients, and kudos to his staff for how they tolerate those of us who email relentlessly with questions and freak-outs. For those of you who are tired of spending tons of money on so-so fitting clothing simply because it's on sale, you're much better off spending a little more on a few pieces that will make you look and feel that much better about yourself. Successful people do what unsuccessful people don't do. Daniel George is the successful person who will help you look and feel better about yourself, period. Thank you Daniel.

Daniel George is truly a cut above the rest and has no parallel in the Great City of Chicago. After a few failed attempts at a couple of ‘tailors’ / shops in the city, a good friend of mine highly recommended Daniel George. I inherited a passion for fine men’s clothing from my father and after my first consultation with DG, I knew I had found my tailor. The first couple of pieces I had made were just confirmation. The rest is history and I will never look elsewhere. Important to note, I don't have the easiest physique to work with. If you want to feel and look like you are top of the heap, get your suit made by Daniel George.
