Tickets are quickly responded to and resolved, only they will mostly be done so in a really dehumanizing way. They will usually side with the accuser - the mighty corporation - instead of protecting the artist / seller. And they will not provide info on the reasons/proofs, only that 'they said so'. They hide behind 'the law requires us to remove/suspend/etc.' even when faced with obvious cases of fair use. Oh, and they will not inform you of said suspension/removal because the site does not have an auto-mail function implemented yet. In 2021. But rest assured, their guys 'are working hard on it'. LE: Yes, you have removed models because a corpo representative told you to; I knew that already, you didn't have to prove my point. And no, your approach still isn't acceptable. Also, since you finally managed to implement the basic functionality of an automated message system, have you also added the option for users to delete their own accounts or do they still require admin intervention?

Hello, We are very sorry to hear you were disappointed with our services. Please note that we are legally obliged to remove the content, which is reported by IP rights owner as infringing their rights. We have received a legal claim from an authorized representative from a company, it included all the necessary information required by law and we had to comply with it by removing the reported models. In regards to the message informing about the suspension of the model(s) - it has been implemented into the system already. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

I have been accepted as an artist on the Wildcat CG trader platform. It's a scam. Models are always flagged as errors even though everything is uploaded as asked with the necessary quality. Some lame excuses are used like (basecolor needs to be a bit darker, roughness needs to be a bit shinier) No matter how many adjustments you make it's never enough. At the end they get your models for free and you wasted time and money.

Hello there, We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed in how the Wildcat system works. Please be advised that we aim to provide the best quality models to our clients, so our designers have to make models with the highest precision and as close to the references as possible.

I like that CGTrader is able to connect you directly with artists. However, I had a poor experience with customer service. I was given the run-around by Julius. (I requested a model conversion and didn't hear anything for days. When I followed-up with customer service, Julius refused to help.) Furthermore, they have a shockingly poor refund policy. I recommend going with TurboSquid instead, for the refund policy. Edit: CGTrader was given ample time to provide a conversion. They just refused to do it. If your customer service responses are one line, late, and don’t help the customer, you’re already doing something wrong. As for the refund policy: Good customer service isn’t a zero-sum game. You shouldn’t have to break consumer laws for your marketplace to work; that just means your business model is broken. TurboSquid offers store credit if a model or conversion doesn’t work out. So, if you’re downloading models, go for TurboSquid and get better, faster customer service, and a refund policy that doesn’t screw you over.

Hello Chris, We are very sorry to hear you were disappointed with our services. Please note that upon asking for a conversion users are given this warning: Due to a high number of requests, please allow some time for our team to contact you. In regards to our refund - be advised that our refund policy is designed to protect both the seller and the buyer, thus it needs to be fair for both sides. We always issue a refund if the buyer did a mistake when buying and did not download the files or if there is anything wrong with the model (technical issues, missing or corrupted files, incorrect or confusing description, etc.). In your case, a refund was not possible for one of the models, because the model works as expected and does correspond to both preview images and the description.

Refund policy is a joke. They will not honor it. In fact they change it to fit the needs of there situation. The refund policy at the time of the refund request. Stated "Eligibility for a refund. The request is submitted to --- within 7 days after the purchase." That line now has completely been removed. After I showed them their own policy. When you have something in writing do the right thing and honor it. Issue the refund in accordance with your policy. Do not try and be sneaky and change the policy. The only reason your getting 2 stars and not 1 is because of the small applied discount credit. Meaning I have the possibility of getting my money back, but will require me to spend over $300 more with your company in order to do so. If you thinking about buying from this website know that you have zero consumer protection. Don't post your copy and pasted "buyer and seller protection statement" as a reply to this CGtrader. The fact that it's even ready to copy and paste shows me that this happens a lot.

Hello John, We are very sorry to hear you were disappointed with our services. Please be advised that the 7 days interval under the refund policy is a timeframe for submission rather than a condition for a refund. If your request would have met any of the refund policy criteria (technical issues, missing or corrupted files, incorrect or confusing description, etc) your purchase would have been refunded. However, the model you have acquired works as expected, it corresponds to both the preview images and description, which is why a refund was not possible.

THEY DO NOT REFUND!! Meaning if you purchased a model and it does not fit, you just lost money for nothing. Try Turbosquid. They are fair with their return policy

Hi there, Our refund policy is designed to protect both the seller and the buyer, so it needs to be fair for both sides. We always issue a refund if the buyer did a mistake when buying and did not download the files or if there is anything wrong with the model (technical issues, missing or corrupted files, incorrect or confusing description). In your case, we could see that there was nothing wrong with the model and you made a mistake when buying but still downloaded the files. In such a case we can’t proceed with a refund, as that would be unfair to the seller.

Bought two models, first was a train that had bad topology. Meshes are broken, it was useless. The support helped me, that was fine. But it took me 3 or 4 days to get a working model. Yesterday I bought a city. Shanghai... A lot of buildings. Nice! But... I am able to select three from maybe 100 buildings. What the hell should I do with that model?

30 % + additional fee. And they doesn't even promote your models. Fancy design and easy to use, but for what reason, this platform don't generate income at all.
