BuildiumReviews of buildium.com

Buildium is an easy and efficient tool we use for our property management business. It makes collecting rent, updating leases, paying vendors, etc so simple. I cannot imagine how we would manage things without Buildium it is essential to our business.

Buildium is a program that handles all your book keeping needs in regards to your rental properties. Entering leases and rents, writing checks to owners, running monthly reports to owners, tracking payments is all at the touch of a button and easy to find. There's even more to this program that I haven't discovered yet, but I know is there that I don't use but eventually will. On top of a comprehensive property management accounting program is the Customer Service. When I make a mistake and can't figure it out, I just go to the help menu, describe my problem and normally in about 1 hour I have the solution. I absolutely could not be more pleased with their Customer Service. In my opinion if you manage properties and want a versatile, online program that you can access from anywhere, Buildium is the best I've found.

I've been managing properties for over 7 years. Until October of 2012, I was using Excel to do my monthly reports to owners and trying to keep track of rental income and expenses. It was a nightmare! While on vacation, I was browsing around the internet for property management software and came upon Buildium's site. I was totally intrigued and immediately signed up for the free trial. By the end of the vacation, I was a full-fledged member and couldn't wait to introduce it to my clients/tenants. It was been a blessing for everyone! Buildium has made my business so much more efficient. And the supporting staff is superb! I would recommend Buildium to anyone.

After trying AppFolio and PropertyWare, I decided to go with Buildium due to its ease of use. I find that Buildium is laid out much better and has a much shorter learning curve while still offering a robust software.

I have used several property management software programs & for our need (in size) Buildium does everything we need it to & more! Great customer service, we have been very, very pleased!

When I took over the position of property manager we did not have any software program to help keep track of our properties. All records were done with paper and pencil. Implementing Buildium was quite easy and when I needed assistance the techs I encountered were both helpful and friendly. I have been using this for a year now and cannot imagine doing my job without it.

Buildium has helped grow our company to what it is today. This is a primary source for both landlords and tenants for anything they ever need from us. The bigger our company gets, the more we lean on Buildium to handle repairs invoices, requests from tenants, accounting, and document storage. Buildium is easy to use, with a tenant portal and the app makes it great for me while I am in the field. We highly recommend this software to any Property Manager!

After four years on the system, there are most of the features that the full blown, unlimited cost real estate operating management systems have at less than the cost of the annual maintenance charges. When I went back into residential real estate four years ago I investigated the cost of purchase of the unlimited systems that I was accustomed to using in prior years. They wanted $33,000 plus and wouldn't phase in the cost based on use. I then chose Buildium. Sometimes, the features needed improving and slowly, they have. Today, the system fully works for us and is a bargain. Yes, it does not do everything possible. But is does everything necessary. I would not move to another platform, even though we can afford to. I have recommended Buildium to others and I continue to do so.
