I missed the fact that the chair only turns at the top and it was not pointed out to me that that would be a problem. Also when I had the folding rail put in it pushed out the chair even more so I almost have to put my legs sideways to ride it. And the installer left lots of metal bits on the carpet since he did not vacuum. Since I had gotten an estimate quite awhile ago it would have been wise to come out again.

disliked the fact that the track is too noisy when chair moves up and down, dislike the fact that the service warranty is only 30 days, disliked the fact that the service provider from Sarasota florida came to try to fix issue after I contacted the factory on the 29th day of the warranty.

I rate your chairlift with FIVE stars for its excellence of “design” but only THREE stars for “performance.” I believe the lower rating for performance is a result of either mis-measurement or mis-manufacture of the top curve being too narrow (by some 2 inches) thus forcing the installers to “stretch” the final placement of the stationary rail-system two or more inches beyond the point where the ridged rail should have been placed causing several of the connecting joints to be “stretched” into misaligned. The misalignments produce a “rough” ride and occasional abrupt unprovoked stops when the chair tries to pass by a joint. While the stops can be corrected by recycling the toggle switch the necessity is annoying. Additionally, while the time it’s takes to ride my chair from our first floor to the second floor is acceptable, the time for the return ride is much, much slower and quite annoying. If these three issues (rough ride, occasional unprovoked stopping and excessive time for the down ride) could be corrected, your chairlift would surely earn FIVE stars by this owner. I have brought the above to the attention of the original installers, but they have been unable to effect any improvements, due to the ridged nature of your design.

The installer was very good, but the next day we found a screw that came out.We called support and ,as yet, we have not received a call back. This is not acceptable.

I use the chair lift to go up the stairs at night and down in the morning. There are three things that could be improved upon. 1. The Seat Belt: the seat belt extends from the ends of each arm rest. I don't use it at all because it seems useless. I don't trust it to stop me from falling. I think the belt should be a lap belt, as is typical for a seat belt. 2. Bumpy Ride: At each location where the track is bolted together, the chair bumps every time those junctions are crossed. The first time was the most alarming, until I saw what the cause was. The ride should be smooth, it is not. 3. No Head Rest: The stair lift is not designed with a head rest but it should have one. I feel I always have to be aware of not letting my head tip back because my head hits the pictures on the wall and dislodges them. I've had to reset my pictures more than once. I'm glad we have the stair lift. At this point we don't really need it but it's there in case we do. This does give peace of mind. I believe my 3 observations above would really improve the user experience.

Didn't like that there's no installation warranty. Had it for barely 30 days and it stopped working to a month to get it fixed.

Bruno makes excellent products, however their value is based on installation being performed correctly. We've have an indoor Bruno stairlift that has been used for at least the past 7 years, and recently had an outdoor Bruno stairlift installed and it has had antenna broke off, battery completely dead within 3 months and the bulky remotes nonresponsive. The good news is that it is under warranty of 1 year before all these issues has to be resolved by me paying for it.

Have only had the lift one week and has required two services calls ! ! System wouldn't charge the battery ! service person was able to fix the problem which was minor , service responded quickly ! I am happy with quality and function of the lift !
