Had the stair glide installed for my mother when she was discharged from rehab about a month ago after having a stroke. The stair glide was quickly installed and is easy to operate. However, there was an issue with the battery not recharging properly which has required two service calls. Each time the retailer was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable to address. I hope there will be no further issues as the stair glide has been a blessing to have and allows my mother to remain at home.

I had installed two Elite stairlifts both with the power folding footrest and one with the powered folding rail. The stairlift works and the seat is very comfortable. My main issue is that it is rather noisy. Of particular annoyance is the constant beeping when the seat is turned. It sounds like a truck backing up and disturbs others in the house. I would think it would be possible to only beep if the seat was turned when you press the button to descend the stairs. Also it would be nice to reduce the noise of the powered folding rail.

Elan for streicht staircase works very well. Power seat and power folding rail really enhance utility. Power folding rail is a bit noisy

We love the stairlift. The one problem comes from the retractor. The joint is not even and so its very noisy passing over it.

Absolutely a high quality, excellent product. It could go a little faster.

The star lift was installed. It took longer than expected and the finished product was not as described. It is not a smooth ride. The whole lift barely fits the stairs. There are grease drops on the carpet from the lift. There was no followup after the installation. The stair lift does make it easier for me to go up and down the stairs. Am I satisfied? Yes, it is finally done, took a longer than expected time from the initial measurements to the installation. Again no followup by the company after the installation.

The installer was polite professional and efficient, as was the person that came out and did the preliminary measurements and gave pertinent information. Because of the two door entry into the lower landing it can be a little awkward, but not impossible to negotiate. It serves the purpose of saving my knees, which is of great concern to me. It makes grocery day a piece of cake. I am so thankful for that too. The only problem I have had is that the chair arm that houses the controls fell down and hit my left arm, breaking the skin as I was preparing to get in the chair ready to sit in. It is healing quite well and I will be aware of that from now on. In todays world of 2nd story dwellings it is a God send for us elderly as well as handicapped.

I really like the chairlift as it has been a great help to me in carrying items up and down the stairs. The only complaint I have is that it really is slow. I wish it would go a little faster otherwise I am very satisfied with the chairlift.
