Everything went according to plan. Alex was great and went above board to please us. However, the electrician didn't do a thing, he came looked, and left everything for Alex. who tried his best but could have been a little neater with the cords. Make sure that the batteries in the remotes are fresh, we've already had to change a couple.

The chairlift was a god sent while my wife was waiting for hip replacement surgery. We had two units installed one for the basement to first floor and the other from the first floor to the second where our sleeping quarters are. All went well except for one annoying bump that occurs at the section joints. The other annoyance is the switch. It has a rubber coating on it but it takes some effort to depress the switch and sometimes the finger rolls off. In my estimation is to have a center thumb lever so that a finger can be used to directly point the chair up or down. This way the finger has something to rest upon while the chair is in motion. Install cost was quite reasonable and it only took about 4 hours of install time. Selling dealer provided great service but could not eliminate the bump.

Machine is working well. It has some issues. I hate the constant beeping if the chair is left rotated. And, I ordered the 400 pound unit and where the lift is working well the rail it climbs seems weak. It tends to twist at the bottom and tips the chair forward. I'm still 50 lbs. short of the capacity.

The chair lift is very comfortable, and the foot rest has a convenient lever that allows you to lower it easily. One complaint I have about the system is the beeping system. When I rotate the chair it beeps every few seconds until I rotate it again. Since I am the only one who uses the lift, I would prefer that there be no beep, so I could leave the chair rotated until I want to use it again.

Everything was great with one exception. The power folding rail started making a loud thump sound when it raised into the up position. I contacted the installing company and am waiting for them to arrange for someone to come out and check it out. If not for that one problem I would have given five stars
