The chair is noisy to operate! The lever to rotate the chair makes a loud 'snapping' sound that is amplified in the hallway when it locks in place! Also, you cannot disable the 'no power' beeping when you lose power unless you turn off the chair. It also beeps at the completion of a cycle which is unnecessary. The chair should only beep when it has not completed its cycle. If it wasn't so noisy, I would have gave it five stars.

Units speed is to slow. The beeper will not go off with the chair in the right angle at the top of the stairs.

Hi Mr. Sanner, All Bruno stair lifts leave our factory in multi-user mode. This mode is activated a when the stairlift is left rotated at the top of the stair case, as that would not allow the seat to travel down to the bottom if another rider is attempting to use it. The local Bruno dealer who installed your stairlift will be able to change the use-mode to "single user", which disables this alert. We installed the Bruno Elan stairlift for my 96 year old mother. It works very well, however I have one safety concern. Mom holds onto the arms when she is getting on the chair and then when she is getting off. She has accidentally pushed the lever at the end of the arm and the chair has started to move. It started to go upstairs with her before I put the seatbelt on and the footrest down. It is in a place where someone with dementia can just push it. think it would be safer if the lever was in a location where you have to be intentional about activating it rather than in a place it can be accidentally activated. Thank you.

Basement chairlift is often sluggish to start from lower position. Often have to click control switch several times to get going up the stairs. Upstairs chairlift works fine and often makes fairly loud clicking noises as it travels.

Once the armrest control on the stairlift is engaged, the stairlift should glide along the stairs without stopping until the end of the rail unless the button is released. The chair lift shakes and does not seem the hold a full battery charge .The charger shows a dual flashing yellow and orange when it's used.

I really love it however it has a bump in it. The installer told me about it but it seems to be getting worse and now kinda makes a grinding noise once it passes over the bump

i'd say everything is great except that one unit doesn't like to start. takes three or four clicks. called the company that sold them but they don't respond..
