Hard lesson to learn and pricey!!
April 2, 2026 I asked them to come out and service my unit. The man that was here told me my unit would work better if I installed an AirRanger* filter to go with the BioForce Defender that I already had. I did agree. Two months later I wonder about the constant running 20 minutes on and only 3 minutes off in between. I go look at the unit and discovered the slab on which it sits is saturated all the way around and not coming out of the condensation pipe. I call my son who works with a lot of contractors for a quick diagnosis and then ARS after getting diagnosed by the other firm to have it removed as it is not really meant for my application being a mobile home with restricted air space. ARS informs me I'll get no money back and that maybe there's another issue and they'll come out for $139!! To check it out. I bulk at that and they agree to come out for $39 and just take it out knowing I won't get my money back. I canceled the appointment immediately after a text confirmation. I don't want these people on my property ever again. You see when they sold me the unit they were going to use my old thermostat only to find out it wasn't connected and my only problem to start with but I didn't know that then. Of which I had said if I'm paying you $8500, they started out at $15000.00 when I said good bye they wiggled in at the $8500 so then why aren't I getting a new thermostat I'm paying for it anyway!! These people rip off the elderly as far as I'm concerned. Hard lesson but I'd rather pay someone else at this point and be right afterwards.
